Sass & Bide Launches Innovative World First Campaign

In a world first, Sass and Bide has partnered with photographer Terry Gates to shoot the first interactive panoramic 360 degree digital campaign. Aline Weber fronts the new AW14 campaign ‘FREETOWN’, shot in New York City.

Heidi Middleton, Creative Director of Sass and Bide said, “the campaign represents the beautiful strange with a modern essence. I wanted the energy of the misfits to be felt int his capture to create a sense of desirable wrongness. Aline then appears as the centrepiece of the campaign representing cool, beauty, freedom and strength.” 
The FREETOWN, collection is brought to life in an interacting panoramic 360 digital campaign expreience. The site starts by taking the viewer on a journey from an angle high above the set, then zooms down to a level for users to interact with the collection. The site automatically rotates around the set with the option to pause and manually navigate. Users can also zoom in and out to view product detail, click to show each item, share with friends across social media and also to sign up to the sass and bide email database. Viewing the campaign experience on smartphones and tablets makes the user feel as though they’re in the room as they move the ipad around.
