Some A-listers just have that “it” factor. No, we’re not talking about their ability to light up the silver screen, we’re talking about their shrewd eye for design. Take Julianne Moore for example, her West Village home was once featured in the pages of ELLE Decor, and after catching a glimpse of her vacation home in Montauk, New York, it’s clear the actress has undeniable taste in real estate.
The charming 1,000-square-foot cottage may not be the biggest on the block, but it’s full of rustic-chic details — exposed brick, a working fireplace, white-washed wood walls, a screened in porch — that make for a perfectly cozy retreat.
And now, the Oscar-winning actress has listed the home for $3.495 million, according to 6sqft.com.
The new owners will also have free reign over the cottage’s .69 acres, and waterfront access to Fort Pond, where they can spend time fishing, swimming, and kayaking. For true water lovers, the property also comes with a private in-ground pool and cabana, and is located a short distance from the ocean.
Moore’s estate is not the only noteworthy property for sale in Montauk, however, earlier this summer the former summer home of Andy Warhol hit the market for $85 million.
