The nude shoe. It’s a staple item that needs to be in every womans wardrobe. A strappy nude for summer and a nude pump for winter. If you’re anything like me and think ‘nude’ more often than not I need to stifle a yawn. BUT, that was then this is now. The new nude. How to wear a nude shoe without wearing a generic style.
I’m a massive accessory fan and love how you can express your personal style through pieces you wear. Of course clothes, that’s a given but also shoes, bags and jewellery.
So what is the new nude you ask? Try an understated muted metallic. Go a beautiful light grey, experiment with a stud embellishment and try a see through perspex.( I’m particular loving this style at the moment. )
So the rule? Keep within the nude colour story so they do go back with all the pieces you need a ‘nude’ shoe for however find something a little different. If you like a stud, go with a stud. If you like a classic look, go for an updated heel. Feel free to go for a different leather/skin and muted metallics are a subtle eye-catching option.
