If you’re on the hunt for an apartment spacious enough for a bike ride or group yoga, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and his Victoria’s Secret Angel wife, Behati Prinsloo, have the perfect place for you.
The couple’s SoHo loft at 112 Greene Street is now on the market, complete with one bedroom and two bathrooms. Sound small for a pop star who allegedly has moves like Jagger? Don’t be deceived—the apartment is a whopping 2,800 square feet (remember: we’re talking about New York City real estate, where the average one-bedroom apartmentsize is 750 square feet). The price tag: $5.5 million.
A cobblestone street leads up to the iconic cast-iron building, which dates back to the early 1900s. The sunny loft has six original columns, 13-foot ceilings, oversized windows with a view over Greene Street, and restored exposed brick walls, according to the property listing.
Tour the master bedroom and you’ll spot a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a deep soaking Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a Subzero fridge, and black granite countertops. If you’d like to sit where Levine probably once strummed “Sugar” or “Payphone” (hey, we can indulge in our daydreams), the listing reports all furniture can also be included in the sale.
Levine and Prinsloo purchased the SoHo loft for $4.5 million in 2014, the same year they tied the knot in a celebrity-studded wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico.
The only thing missing from the lower Manhattan digs? A nursery. Which may be the reason for the move, since Entertainment Tonight reports Levine and Prinsloo are expecting their first child this year.
Perhaps a more family-friendly neighborhood for the couple will be Pacific Palisades, Calif., where the two were spotted perusing real estate last month. Meanwhile, they still have the option of staying in their Beverly Hills home, which Levine purchased in 2012 for $4.83 million.
